Barb & I helicoptered around Kaua'i. Here's a sampling of the fabulous scenery here.
Hanalei Bay, looking North, with its 2 miles of sand beach.
Freya
is anchored in the bight to the right with about a dozen other boats.
The last sugar cane fields on Kauai are on the Southwest side of the island. Coffee has replaced most of the cane crop.
A deep, colourful canyon cuts through the volcanic rock near Waimea. This area is very popular with hikers.
West of Hanalei is the Na'pali Coast. This rugged area has only a few unsheltered anchorages, no roads, and lots of waterfalls.
